->> I would love to hear what you Mac users are using for a Palm Pilot? I am in desperate need of one now so that I can keep up with all that is going on when I am not in front of my Powerbook. I have found the Palm One which looks pretty good but I was wondering what else might be out there under $200.

->> I just bought my girlfriend a Palm Tungsten E for graduation last week. We both have macs and it seems to be working pretty well. It syncs with iSync easily, or you can use the software that comes with it. It cost me $185, but there is a new Tungsten E2 that has just come out that is like $300 I think, but for what she would use it for, the older one will be more than enough.
It works with mac Address Book, iCal, and other programs, as well as Word, Excel, and Entourage a little bit. And it can hold photos and mp3's.
I know you've checked out Palm already, but I figured I'd offer my suggestion towards the Tungsten E on a mac.

->> I gave up on Palm and went over to an iPaq about a year ago. I use the iPaq as an address book, to gather email on the run and as a satellite navigation device. It handles Word, Excel and any other Microsoft format and you can load Pocket Phojo as a back up or lightweight image editing package. The best bit is that it synch's with Entourage under OSX using a small bit of cheap software called POCKET MAC. The downside is that you have to borrow a friend's Windows PC to load most software onto the iPaq but that isn't true of Pocket Phojo which recognises that Macs are a major factor in photography by making a Mac based installer available.
I currently have an iPaq 2210 but am about to upgrade to the 4700 for it's amazing high resolution screen.
Neil.

->> I bougth the Tungsten E a few months back and love it. Have not had any problems on a Mac w/ address book or ical. I also bought a 1 Gig card for it to hold music and a mini portfolio of images. Since I do not have an ipod yet, I use this as my mp3 player when on the road.

->> Thanks for the input. As of now I am leaning towards the Tungston E2. I would like to stay away from anything windows based. That is just a personal preference though. I like that the Tungston E2 has the Bluetooth in it. I could actually use that feature on my Powerbook for once.

->> I'm using the Treo 600 palm/phone with Verizon and it has been a good solution. Completely compatible with OSX and iSync and has been pretty reliable. I'm now waiting for the new Treo 650 to get here.
