In this week’s video, I discuss time lapse video, those fast-moving videos that convert hours and days of activity into minutes and seconds of video. I explain two ways of creating such videos, one easy and free, the other more complicated and time consuming (guess which method I’ve been using).
It's a large undertaking and investment to build and release a Mac version of Timepage (regardless of Catalyst), and we're a small team - we're doing the best we can to prioritise. Our plan is to release web and desktop version of Actions first, to enable syncing across iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac/Windows. (In Mac OS X El Capitan or earlier choose Turn off Time Machine). When you next want to back up your Mac click on the greyed-out Time Machine icon in your menu bar and choose Back Up Now.
Or you can look below for the full-quality video embedded from YouTube. (Please note our videos are now available in HD on YouTube as well!)
During the video, I demonstrate how to create a time lapse movie using Gawker (the free and easy solution). I also demonstrate how to do the same thing using Evocam ($30) and QuickTime Pro ($30). I also include a short snippet of an older video I created, set to some entertaining music that fans of Benny Hill will instantly recognize.

When you start working, start the timer with one click (or keystroke).
Step 4You can enter what you worked on and add a project, task, tag, and choose if it's billable.
Step 5Clockify can track what apps and websites you use so you can later create time entries based on time spent in other apps (data is visible only to you).
Step 6Desktop app has a lot of handy features that can help you better track time, which you can enable in Preferences:
In the web version, you can manage projects, invite team, review timesheets, and export reports.
